Under JICA (Japanese International Corporation Agency) grant, CSI Construction was awarded the construction of the Malindi Fish Market in Zanzibar (both Lots 1 & 2).

The project started in May 2019, with the sea works (sheet piling and dredging). After completing the sea wall works, the project was suspended due to the ongoing pandemic. This suspension lasted for over 1 year. The project re-commenced in July 2021.
